Ava Randel joined The Hastings Center in April 2025. Before coming to the Center, she taught ethics as an adjunct faculty member at New Jersey Institute of Technology and Montclair State University. Ava holds an MA in Ethics and Society from Fordham University where she worked at the Center for Ethics Education and an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary with a concentration in Theology, Women, and Gender. She has provided care as a hospital chaplain in trauma and psychiatric settings and interned at the Montefiore Einstein Center for Bioethics.
